Bruce's Stone, Glentrool, Galloway Forest Park - Travel Poster

Bruce’s Stone is a large granite monument that overlooks Loch Trool in the Galloway Forest Park. Erected in 1929 by the newly formed Scottish Nationalist Party, the stone was built to commemorate the victory of Robert the Bruce over the English in one of the first battles in the Scottish Wars of Independence. 

Sitting at the start of the path up the Merrick, the stone provides panoramic views across the Galloway Hills.

Our prints are high-quality giclee prints on archival quality 230gsm matt fine art paper. Each print is made to order for you and individually printed, these are not mass-produced prints. A5, A4 & A3 prints are printed in house. Larger A2 and A1 prints and framed prints will come to you direct from our supplier.
